Weber generates extensive national and international media coverage for the American Pain Society to heighten public awareness about chronic pain and effective pain management.
Since 1999, Weber has generated extensive national and international media coverage for the American Pain Society and its advocacy of multidisciplinary pain management. At the 2007 APS annual scientific meeting in Washington, a panel on pain management for soldiers seriously wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan was featured in a cover story in Newsweek and in a national Associated Press story that appeared in some 80 daily newspapers.
